The Course

The swim takes place in the Bi-Centenary pool, St. James's Gate. It is 30 lenghts of the pool (750 Meters).
Swim lanes will be shared and you count the 30 lenghts yourself. It is important that you accurately estimate
how long the swim will take you, as you will be swimming in the lane with people estimating to swim in
roughly the same time as yourself.

The Cycle

All participants must wear a cycle helmet. The cycle goes from the Guinness Bicentenary Centre along
the Quays to the Phoenix Park then around a well marked route in the park (20Km in total). The Transition
point from bike to run is well marked and you can change and get a bottle of water here.

The Run

The run is a 5Km circuit, starting and finishing next to the cycle transition point.

Your Gear

Shortly after the race starts a van will leave the Bicentenary Centre for the transition point in the Park.
This will take any gear you need for the transition, from cycle to run, or for after the race. It is a good
idea to arrange some warm clothing for the finish as it may take some time, if you were one of the early
starters, for all the competitors to complete the course. So join the army of spectators and cheer on those
still competing.

Post-Race Event

Once done, with all athletes safely finished, there will be a celebration event and prize giving
There will be free food and drinks and all participants, stewards and supporters can attend.
